JGM Fire & Security were tasked with upgrading the existing fire alarm, intruder alarm and CCTV system for Eastern Western Group within their Lexus Glasgow site.
Utilising cutting edge technology we installed a new Hyfire wireless Taurus Wireless Fire Alarm System & a Pyronix Euro 76 Wireless Intruder Alarm System throughout the building.
The original concept design was hard wired solutions however to minimise disruption to both Staff & Lexus customers we chose a less intrusive solution which minimised disruption & reduced installation time onsite.
Both the fire & intruder systems are linked to an alarm receiving centre allowing 24/7 coverage for any activations & faults.
We were asked to provide both Internal & Perimeter coverage to both protect the general site & cover the main external forecourt areas.
The key parameter was to ensure that the cameras covering external areas would provide the coverage required whilst only recording movement on the site, this was made more difficult as the main forecourt is not fenced off therefore free access to pass through.
To solve this we provided a HikVision IP Solution utilising advanced analytics including the Auto Tracking function which reduces the need for the system to be continually monitored by a staff member & activated on motion.
The work was carried out quickly with minimal disruption, offering the site higher security and peace of mind.
